Before starting coaching with Jennie, I was recently stepping into a new role in my life as a yoga teacher, and nurse coach. I was committed to my fitness goals but felt attached to the rigidity of my gym schedule which was causing my lack of motivation. Working with Jennie, we discussed my relationship to the gym and co-created goals to increase my motivation which included limiting the time I spent at the gym each day. Once we limited my time spent at the gym, I was able to completely redesign my fitness routine and immediately started seeing results and felt much better about it.

Jennie made me feel so comfortable in this learning experience that was mindfulness. It's not something that I had ever practiced before this course, and it made me feel so uncomfortable at first. Jennie always had great feedback and guidance throughout our sessions, and I truly learned so much from her. I love how she focused on body positioning and awareness, and it made me realize how not in-tune I was with my own body. She was kind and understanding in our sessions and that allowed me to really grow into this practice.

It was an amazing experience. You are an incredible person and coach. You enlightened me and made me realize that any changes needed to come from me.

I gained greater self esteem, and realized I needed to want to change, and just made me feel better about myself.

Changes are good, and that I am worth putting time into.

 What was going on in your life before you started working with me, and how have our coaching sessions positively impacted your life and overall well being?

I quit my job of 6 1⁄2 years, lost my health insurance, struggled with being unemployed and interviewing for new positions, plus not being on my anxiety meds. Being off my meds impacts my mood and mood swings. My fiancé recognizes when I am not on them because my fuse becomes extremely short. 

How was your experience of working with me? What did you like most about our coaching relationship?

It was a good experience. You were very professional and unbiased. 

What benefits, results, or achievements did you gain from our coaching together? Meditation. I have not tried that before, but I liked it and how relaxed I felt afterwards. I think I will continue to do it, or at least try to, especially when I can feel an anxiety attack coming. 

 

Who would you recommend my coaching to? Anyone who is looking for someone who will listen. Someone who is struggling and just wants advice or to find techniques to manage stress and anxiety, or any other issues they cannot manage on their own.
